Petya Dubarova is a legendary young Bulgarian poetess who commits suicide at the age of 17. Her genius poetry has always had a unique and charming presence. One year before her suicide she meets a Swedish boy called Per. After a short romance in communist Bulgaria they continue their relationship through letters. Suddenly Per stops writing back. Some people think that was the beginning of Petya's end. What will happen if 32 years later Per comes to realize who Petya Dubarova was and what happened to her?
