Magicians won the Best Fiction Video Award of the Black & White Audiovisual Festival

Great news! Magicians, dir. Andrey Getov, won the Best Fiction Video award of the seventh edition of the Black & White Audiovisual Festival in Porto, Portugal. The International Jury honoured the film for it’s intemporality and intriguing narrative development.

Magicians is selected for the 12^th edition of the International Film Festival of Patra City, Greece. The Festival will start in October 2010 at Patra City.

Вечер на Даниил Хармс

Вечерта е посветена на гениалния руски авангардист Даниил Хармс (1905-1942) — един от най-радикалните и креативни експериментатори в изкуството на ХХ век, дързък поет, писател и драматург, обаятелен ексцентрик, неподражаем хуморист и философ-абсурдист, неуморен създател на нови естетически форми, заплатил с живота си за творческата си смелост.

Вечер на Даниил Хармс — 23 февруари 2010, 19:00, Клуб на актьора в Младежкия театър. Вход: 10 лв

Съвместна инициатива на Асоциация за свободен театър и Младежки тетатър Никола Бинев.

Ако сте във Варна и се чудите какво да правите вечерта на 25 ноември 2009 (сряда), ние имаме чудесно предложение: Късни прожекции на късометражно кино.

Международният фестивал за късометражно кино Филмини и Арт сдружение Перде организират прожекция в небезизвестния Comics Club на 10 наградени филма от предишните издания на фестивала с начало 20:00 часа.

В програмата можете да видите три от последните ни филми — Фокусници, Всичко за теб и Изтриване — както и други интересни short films made in BG.

Организаторите от Перде и Филмини са подготвили и допълнителни изненади за варненската публика.

Magicians, dir. Andrey Getov, is selected for Euroshorts 2009 Festival in Warsaw, Poland. The festival will start on November 13th, 2009 at Ujazdowski Castle Centre of Contemporary Art and the screenings will continue in other film theatres, clubs and galleries in Warsaw and in other cities.

Magicians won the Best Bulgarian Short Film Award of Filmini 3.0

Great news! The last short film of our associated director Andrey Getov won the National Competition Award of the third edition of the International Short Film Festival Filmini.

The International Jury honoured Magicians for it’s daring artistic and poetic vision.

Now Andrey Getov and the cinematographer Ivan Vatsov have the opportunity to shoot their next short on 16mm film stock thanks to the 2000 euros grant given by Kodak Cinelabs Bulgaria.

The First and The Last Experimental International Film Festival 2009 will be hosted by The Reading Cinemas, The Newington Armory Theatre, The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and The Broken Hill Regional Arts Gallery from 25 to 27 September 2009.
